Join us for the "Corks & Canvas" wine tasting benefit for the Andre Bosse Center on Saturday, February 11 fom 2 p.m. to 5p.m. in Pentwater. Tickets are $20/person in advance of the event or $25/person at the door.

Six locations, including the Folly, will host tastings of domestic and imported fine wines. Enjoy wine, appetizers and dessert on the first weekend of Pentwater's Winter Fest.

Proceeds from the event benefit the Andre Bosse Center, a child advocacy center which works with  families in Oceana and Mason counties with child negelect and abuse issues. We had a great time with our customers - it was so nice to see so many of our summer visitors back at their cottages for the Thanksgiving holiday. Lots of compliments on our cookies and candy!

The Vera Bradley 2011 Christmas Ornament and our holiday Jelly Bean rugs were big sellers.

The rain didn't stop Pentwater's Tree Lighting ceremony or Santa's arrival on the fire truck or the horse drawn carriage rides - what troopers! 

Supporting your small town merchants, wherever you live and especially in these economically challenging times, helps keep the local economy strong and the downtown business district vibrant. It's the business owners who contribute not just tax dollars but their time volunteering and/or contributing money to local non-profit organizations that provide much needed community services.

"Fight Like a Girl!" 

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Folly hosted an in-store party to benefit the Women's Imaging Center at Memorial Medical Center in Ludington. This state-of-the art health center offers women from surrounding counties health care services in a beautiful and serene setting. 

We had a wonderful turnout for the event and were pleased to donate over $600 to the Women's Imaging Center to support their early detection, diagnosis and counseling programs.

Thanks to everyone who attended and to those who made a donation in lieu of being at the event. We sincerely appreciate your support!
